Real Results:
Remedial work on Åsgard FPSO Bilge Keel.

Challenge:
IMR ROV inspection had found indications of a crack in the bilge keel.

Solution:
SubseaPartner mobilised a LDC dive team on board Seven Viking, carried out MPI, and, using a custom designed cutting saw, cut out a stress relieving section of the bilge keel. During cutting operations, divers used Eddy Current Inspection to confirm crack had been eliminated.

Outcome:
Crack stopping measures successful.
