Task: DBSC Inspection GVI & CVI

Real Results:
Inadequate Access for ROV Inspection.

Challenge:
No inspection results from FPSO turret.

Solution:
LDC Dive spread mobilised onboard client IMR vessel. DBSC’s cleaned and visual inspection carried out (GVI & CVI). Due to poor cathodic protection several areas of concern were reported.

Outcome:
Follow up project to install new continuity cables, DBSC actuator ring locking system repaired, retrofit anodes designed by specialist sub-contractor installed. Fully restored local cathodic protection.
